Premiile Grammy 2018. Lista completă a câștigătorilor celor 84 de categorii

Bruno Mars a fost marele câştigător al celei de-a 60-a ediție Grammy Awards, printre care „cel mai bun album” („24K Magic”), „cea mai bună înregistrare” şi „cel mai bun cântec” („24K Magic”)

În acest an, gala premiilor Grammy a avut loc la Madison Square Garden din New York, pentru prima dată din 2003.

Starul retro R&B Bruno Mars a fost recompensat cu şase premii, câștigând astfel la toate categoriile în care a fost nominalizat, și în plus, albumul său "24K Magic"  obținând și premiul Engineered album, non-classical.

Al doilea favorit al serii a fost rapperul Kendrick Lamar, care a plecat cu cinci premii Grammy  din şapte nominalizări - patru dedicate categoriei rap şi trofeul pentru cel mai bun video, "Humble".

Ca şi premiile Oscar pentru industria cinematografica, şi premiile Grammz reprezintă o ocazie de exprimare liberă, și de această dată temele fiind rasismul, hărțuirea sexuală sau reprezentarea femeilor în industria muzicală din SUA.

Kendrick Lamar a deschis transmisia televizată de la New York cu melodia "XXX", împreună cu Bono, solistul trupei U2. "XXX" se regăseșe pe albumul "DAMN.", care vorbeşte despre asasinările de tineri negri din SUA.

Apoi a fost frustrarea lui Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) care nu a câștigat premiul pentru Albumul anului cu "4:44", un succes de critică şi public. Până acum, doar două albume hip-hop au câștigat la această categorie, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" - Lauryn Hill, în 1999, şi "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below"- Outkast, în 2004, deși genul hip-hop a devenit cel mai popular în SUA, potrivit Institutului Nielsen.

În ciuda succeselor cântărețelor la edițiile anterioare, un studiu publicat de Annenberg Inclusion Initiative arată că raportul bărbaţi-femei în industria muzicală este de 49 la 1.

Și cum lumea muzicii nu a fost afectată de scandaluri de hărţuire sexuală precum cinematografia, vedetele participante la gala Grammy, precum Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Cindy Lauper, Khalid, Sting sau Cardi B, au apelat la un alt gest simbolic pentru susţinerea aceloraşi iniţiative, un trandafir alb.

Ideea de a arbora aceşti trandafiri la Grammy Awards 2018 a fost lansată în urmă cu câteva zile de un grup de artişti, îngrijoraţi că lumea muzicii este relativ apatică în faţa scandalului care zguduie SUA, după cazul Weinstein.
